VHDL FPGA Programming Packages

VHDL FPGA programming packages are optionally available for each of the above DSP/FPGA boards, allowing users to add their own VHDL logic to the on-board FPGA.

With these programming packages, VHDL frameworks facilitate the integration of FPGA or external logic with the DSP processor via its EMIF interface as memory mapped peripherals, or for starting new projects where developers are responsible for adding all functionality.

The ORS-1xx series of micro-line compatible boards provide high performance analog I/O capabilities in conjunction with a user-programmable high density FPGA which can be used for the manipulation and processing of converter data. They can be used stand-alone or as peripherals to micro-line DSP/FPGA boards.

VHDL FPGA Programming Packages

VHDL FPGA programming packages are optionally available for each of the above ORS-1xx Analog I/O boards, allowing users to add their own VHDL logic to the on-board FPGA and utilize its powerful processing capabilities

With these programming packages, VHDL frameworks are provided for utilizing the respective board either as memory mapped peripheral to a connected TMS320C6000 DSP processor on a micro-line DSP or DSP/FPGA board, or as a stand-alone device with the FPGA being responsible for all data processing and the developer responsible for FPGA integration with external hardware.

Implemented as tiny (30x36mm) surface mount PLCC devices, ultra-compact multi-chip modules combine all of the resources necessary to interface and control just about any hardware peripheral. On-board DSP, FPGA, serial, and configurable digital I/O resources provide the developer with a diverse range of plug & play and software programmable capabilities for IEEE 1394 FireWire connectivity, embedded peripheral control, signal and image processing applications.

VHDL FPGA Programming Packages

A VHDL FPGA programming package is optionally available for the UC1394a-1 and UC1394a-3 ultra-compact multi-chip modules, allowing users to add their own VHDL logic to the on-board FPGA.

VHDL frameworks are provided with the programming package to implement the full connectivity that is offered with the particular board support package, or for starting new projects where the developer is responsible for adding all functionality.
