TCP/IP Protocol Stack for
TMS320 DSP Processors Is First To Market
eXpressDSP compliant stack reduces time, cost and risk in developing
Internet-enabled DSP applications
ITHACA,
NY, February 20, 2003: Traquair Data Systems, Inc. today introduced
the bf3Net TCP/IP Protocol
Stack for TMS320 DSP Processors. Leveraging Texas Instrument's eXpressDSP™
real-time software technology, and fully compliant with the TMS320™
DSP Algorithm Standard, bf3Net software reduces the time, cost and risk
involved in developing reliable Internet-enabled DSP applications.
bf3Net is developed and produced by Windmill
Innovations BV in Nijkerk, The Netherlands (www.windmill-innovations.com)
and is the first-to-market eXpressDSP Compliant TCP/IP Protocol Stack
supporting TMS320 DSP processors. bf3Net facilitates DSP development
with tight Code Composer Studio IDE integration and full RFC compliant
support for TMS320C2800, TMS320C5000, and TMS320C6000 devices.

A flexible and
powerful design platform, bf3Net supports all standard protocols necessary
for complete development of Internet-enabled DSP applications including
HTTP, SMTP, POP3, FTP, DNS and DHCP.
To facilitate development, bf3Net
Starter Kits are also available. Providing a low-priced, entry-level
evaluation and prototyping platform for Internet-enabled DSP applications,
the kits contain everything necessary to quickly start a bf3Net based
project including the bf3Net TCP/IP Protocol Stack, a 100BaseTx
Ethernet Daughter Card and a Texas Instruments DSP Starter Kit (DSK).
"The addition of Windmill Innovations communications products offer
exceptional capabilities for developers seeking advanced connectivity
solutions for their DSP based systems", said Stephen J. Bradshaw,
President & Technical Director of Traquair.
