C641xCPU TMS320C641x Embedded DSP Board with Spartan-3E FPGA
micro-line C641xCPU DSP boards combine
an integer TMS320C6410, TMS320C6413, or TSM320C6418 DSP processor, with a Xilinx Spartan 3E FPGA, SDRAM,
FLASH boot program EPROM, and the micro-line bus interface.
Designed for
system developers looking to reduce time to market while lowering
total cost, the C641xCPU series of boards lets developers maximize software creativity
and minimize high density, high frequency hardware design for
their industrial embedded DSP and FPGA applications.
TMS320C6410, TMS430C6413, or TMS320C6418 Integer DSP Processor

External access to TMS320C641x DSP I/O interfaces: 32-bit EMIF, XF0/1 flag pins, Timer input pins, Timer output pins, McASP & McBSP ports, I2C, 16-bit GPIO port, and Host Port interface.
Optional analog
I/O support
Single operating
power supply of +3.3V
Space saving,
highly integrated SMD technology, board dimensions 98 x 67 x 20mm
An optional micro-line
power supply functions as a base for a micro-line
stack of DSP, data acquisition and I/O boards. It delivers power to
the micro-line stack and provides additional services such as RS-232
communications connector, a reset button and a power-on indicator. OEM
developers may wish to mount the micro-line stack on their own hardware.
Interfacing Options
A
rich suite of peripheral & I/O options are provided for interfacing with micro-line
DSP boards. These include serial and parallel digital
I/O, analog conversion, 400MBit/sec IEEE 1394 FireWire communications,
and direct access to the micro-line bus for memory mapped peripheral
hardware design and integration.
Development Tools &
Software
A
range of development tools & software provides support for
code generation, source level debugging, pre-emptive multi-tasking,
as well as downloading and managing FLASH ROM resident application
software on the DSP boards, and FireWire support.
