USB Connectivity

USB is one of the most extensively used communication standards in today's electronics. The ease of use and ubiquity of USB makes it an ideal canidate for embedded systems. Traquair provides hardware with USB capabilties that can be used in systems ranging for human device interfaces, cameras, remote storage and more.

micro-line DSP / FPGA boards

The micro-line C6412Compact offers a highly flexible DSP/FPGA single board solution which combines a power TMS320C6412 DSP processor and Xilinx Spartan-3 FPGA, together with an on-board USB 2.0 slave interface. It also includes 10/100Base-T Ethernet and IEEE 1394a FireWire connectivity, and can be used as a stand-alone system, or as a mezzanine daughtercard embedded within a larger system or board design.

Optional software allows the USB2.0 slave interface to be utilized by the on-board DSP processor, using either bulk-mode or CDC protocol based transport for communication with a PC. CDC protocol based communication presents PC side application software with a generic COM port software interface to the C6412Compact.
