SocketCAN

SocketCAN provides an alternative software interface for Linux. It is an open source, vendor independent software interface and is included with the current active release of Linux (i.e. download form here not required). The following products are supported:

Please note, if you are interested in using the proCANtool CAN monitoring software suite, you will need to switch from SocketCAN to CPC drivers (included with the CAN Development Kit for Linux).
